The Learning Hub Academy utilizes an individually developed, education-based curriculum designed to meet each child at their unique academic and developmental level. Our curriculum combines Montessori-inspired learning strategies, the Whole Child Approach, and Growth Mindset practices with intentional instruction in Early Literacy, Early Numeracy, reading and writing readiness, mathematics, science and S.T.E.A.M., social studies, fine-motor development, and problem-solving. Individualization is at the heart of our curriculum—students complete benchmark assessments upon enrollment to identify their strengths and areas for growth, while weekly assessments allow our educators to continuously monitor mastery, adjust instruction, and develop learning experiences based on each child’s needs. Our curriculum is further enriched through Spanish immersion and weekly University of Delaware reading groups. Social-emotional learning is embedded throughout the day, with an emphasis on independence, confidence, kindness, communication, courtesy, empathy, and positive peer relationships. Students are post-assessed at the end of the academic year to measure growth and academic gains, ensuring our curriculum remains purposeful, measurable, and focused on preparing every learner for kindergarten and continued academic success.
